Rachel V. LaChappelle, 90, formerly of Saranac, passed away Aug. 18, 2005, in
Saline.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Minnie Huffman of Lowell;
sister, Lee Ewing; baby sister, Jean Dorthadean; and husband, Everett
LaChappelle.  She is survived by her son, William and Mary Bigler of Ann Arbor;
granddaughter, Beth Bigler of New York; nephew, John Ewing of California; niece
Robert Martin of New Mexico; step children and families.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Roth-Gerst Funeral Home, Lowell, with
Dr. Michael Conklin of First United Methodist Church of Lowell officiating. 
Internment is in Alton Cemetery.  Visitation is one hour prior to service. 
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church of Lowell,
621 E. Main St.
