Lawrence Lackey, 57, of 1011 Sixth Ave., Lake Odessa, died Sunday at Pennock 
hospital where he had been a patient for three days.

He was born August 21, 1921, the son of Milton and Margaret Johnson Lackey in 
Perry.

Mr. Lackey married the former Phyllis Scheidt in Lansing in 1944 and was 
employed at Planet Corporation in Lansing, retiring in 1963.  He lived in the 
area most of his life and was a member of the Nazarene church of Lake Odessa.

Survivors include his wife; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lackey of Lake 
Odessa; one son, David of Lake Odessa; one daughter, Noreen of Petoskey; two 
brothers, Vance and Douglas of Lake Odessa and several nieces and nephews.

Services are Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Pickens-Koops funeral chapel with 
Rev. Douglas Maxson officiating.  Burial is in Lakeside cemetery.
