Stephen Lawrence Ladisky, 54, of Portland, went home to be with the Lord on 
Jan. 14, 2009.  He was born on Feb. 20, 1954 in St. Johns, the son of Paul 
Peter Ladisky and Donna Elaine Ladisky (Beebe).

Stephen was raised in Portland and graduated from St. Patrick’s School.  He 
enjoyed hunting out at his sister’s farm where he had grown up and fishing 
with his children and grandchildren.  He especially loved spending time with 
his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Elaine Ann Lenneman; his 
brother, Joseph; his son, Eric; and his grandson, Stephen.  Surviving are his 
brother, John Ladisky of Rose City; his sister, Paula (Dennis) Dryer of 
Portland; sister and brother-in-law, Patty and Bob Lenneman of Portland; his 
two sons, Paul (Jessica) Ladisky and Dustin Ladisky, both of Portland; many 
grandchildren, nieces, nephews, special friend Charlene Ladisky, and many 
other family and friends.

The memorial services was held Jan. 24 at the First Congregational Church of 
Portland with the Dr. Marilyn V. Danielson officiating.  For those desiring, 
memorial contributions may be made to any local food drives, in memory of 
Stephen Ladisky.
