Mr. LaDow, who had not been well for some time was down town Monday. Tuesday he was stricken with apoplexy and for 24 hours before his death was unconscious. The funeral will be attended Saturday morning at ten o'clock from the house, burial in Highland park. He leaves a wife and grandson, Dean LaDow at home and several other grandchildren. One daughter, Mrs. Hattie Tanner also survives. Mr. LaDow was a member of the First Michigan Engineers and Mechanics although not a member of the local G.A.R.
