Ionia Daily Sentinel - Monday, Jan. 20, 1913

Mrs. Maria LaDow, wife of Paris LaDow, died at her home, 704 East Main street 
at 6 o'clock Sunday  night after a brief illness. She was 83 years of age and 
was born in Hartford, Conn., and was married to Paris LaDow in 1850, coming to 
Michigan from New York in 1855. She is survived by her husband and five 
children, Mrs. C.A. Cornell and Mrs. Fred Henrisch of Lansing, Mrs. A.B. Way 
of Grand Rapids, A.B. LaDow of Ionia and Arthur P. of Los Angeles, Calif.; 
also a brother, Seth Porter, of Ionia. The funeral will be held at the house 
Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in Highland Park cemetery.
