His wife, who was ill at the time, was taken to the hospital, also, owing to the fact she was suffering severely from shock. Mr. LaDue, who was employed at the Pere Marquette car shops, was taken ill while at duty Thursday, and was taken to his home on Hackett street, and upon the critical turn Friday afternoon was taken to the hospital, where he died. He was born in Carson City May 6, 1881, and that vicinity had been his residence until close to 10 years ago, when he and his family moved to Ionia. His marriage to Miss Bessie Dick, of North Plains, was in 1905. He was affiliated with the Odd Fellow and the Moose orders in Ionia. Besides the widow he leaves four children, Stuart, Senia, Loraine, and Leola, all at home, and also a brother Bert?, of Ionia, and a brother, Arthur, of Detroit. The funeral service will be held from the Methodist Episcopal church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. W. F. Kendrick will officiate. Burial will be made in the family lot in the Carson City cemetery.
