Ionia Sentinel Standard - Thurs. July 18, 1968


Rev. Robert McComb of First Presbyterian church officiated at funeral services 
Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Bessie M. LaDue, who died at Ionia County Memorial 
Hospital Sunday afternoon. Burial was at Carson City Cemetery.

Bearers were Julius Funk, C.B. Morrall, William Salem and Glen Coe, all members 
of Senior Citizens Club. Members of Women of the Moose, and the Rebeccas 
represented their respective lodges.

Those attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Town were Mr. and 
Mrs. Stanley Szemer and son Tom, Mrs. Jennie Kilts, Mrs. Lulu Barber, Mr. and 
Mrs. Joe Szemer of Lansing, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Oosterhof and daughter Ruth of 
Holland, Mr. and Mrs. L.B. LaDue and daughter Janet of Sacramento, Calif. Mrs. 
Elizabeth Brower of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Lebbin of St. 
Joseph, Douglas LaDue of Lowell, Mrs. Lucille Clark of Hollywood, Florida and 
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Shafer of St. Johns. 

Lunch was served after the services by the Bethany Circle of First Christian 
Church.
