The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, December 29, 1921

Leon LaFay, age 66 years, died at his home in Easton township at 1 o’clock 
this morning.  Besides his wife he leaves five daughters, Mrs. John Rock, of 
Ludington; Mrs. J. L. Bartenbaker, of Pontiac; Mrs. Ada Dodge, of Big Rapids; 
Mrs. Minnie O’Berry, of Manistique, and Mrs. F. T. Bailey, of Pontiac, and two 
sons, Leon and A. B. LaFay, both of Pontiac; one sister, Mrs. Rivers, of 
Pontiac, and two brothers, Frank LaFay, of Ludington, and Joe LaFay, of 
Windsor, Canada.  The funeral will be held from the residence in Easton 
township Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Burial will take place in Highland 
Park cemetery.
