The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, December 28, 1948
Funeral services for Jason Lafler, who died at his home at 459 Beresford 
street Thursday afternoon, December 23, were held from the Myers funeral home 
Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Dr. Howard A. Smith officiated.  Interment was 
in the family lot in Easton cemetery.  Bearers were Harley Gardner, Holgar 
Larson, Ed Thelan and Albert List.

Attending the services from out of town were Marion Fowler and Mrs. Guy Fowser 
of Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Fowler and Buddy of Jackson; Mrs. Starks 
of Sheridan; Betty Dunlap of Orleans; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Trebian of Belding; 
Mr. and Mrs. William Trebian of Orleans; Harold and Wayne Dean of Saranac and 
Lyle Horrigan of Lowell.
