The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, January 31, 1981

H. T. “Ozzie” Lafleur, 59, 610 Lafayette St., died Friday in Ionia County 
Memorial Hospital.  He was born May 5, 1921 in Saginaw, the son of Gustav and 
Alice Minns Lafleur.  He married Nancy Byrnes in 1948, and they moved in 1964 
to Ionia, where he worked at Michigan Reformatory.  Mr. Lafleur was a member 
of he First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy; three sons, John of Florida, David of 
Atlanta and Steven of Ionia; and one brother, Gus of Saginaw.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. from the First Presbyterian Church 
with the Rev. Robert Nixon officiating.  Burial will be in the Balcom 
Cemetery.  The family will receive friends and relatives at the Leddick 
Funeral Home Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Memorials can be 
made out to the First Presbyterian Church and the Michigan Heart Association.
