The Ionia Dailey Sentinel-Standard, Monday, April 9, 1951

Mrs. Mazarie H. LaFond, 91, died Saturday, April 7, at the home o f her son, 
Sidney, in Belding where she had lived for two years.

She leave four daughters, Mrs. Rose Wilder of Largo Fla., Mrs. Eveline Priest 
of Pontiac, and Mrs. Josephine Thomas and Mrs. Lena Oberlin of Belding; and 
two sons, Sidney of Belding and Henry of Pontiac.

The body reposes at the Fales-Huffman funeral home.  Services will be 
conducted by the Rev. Fr. Charles Steves Tuesday at 9 p.m. at St. Joseph 
Catholic church, Belding.  Interment will be in Hillman.
