Rev. Ronald Lahr, formerly of Portland, died March 26, 1996, in Sarasota, 
Fla.  Rev. Lahr was pastor of the Portland First Congregational Church from 
1973-1982.

Survivors include one son, Brent of Florida; two daughters, Terry and Denise, 
both of North Carolina; and three grandchildren.

Services were held March 30 in Sarasota, with Rev. Fred Robinson of the Church 
of the Redeemer Episcopal Church and Rev. Dr. John Syster of the Sarasota 
First Congregational United Church of Christ officiating.  Contributions may 
be made by calling the office of the local church officiate 647-6441.
