The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, March 29, 1963

Mrs. Marian Martin Laidlaw, 47, of Greenville, died early Thursday morning at 
United Memorial hospital where she had been a patient about a week.  She had 
lived at route one, Ionia, for many years and moved to Greenville two years 
ago.

Mrs. Laidlaw was born November 24, 1915 in Ionia county, the daughter of Lyman 
Crane of Muir and the late Mrs. Crane.

Surviving are her husband, Charles; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Sorensen of 
Greenville and Beverly Martin at home; three grandchildren; her father, Lyman 
Crane; two sisters, Mrs. Jenny Normington of Muir and Mrs. Zerepha Lincoln of 
Wayne; three stepdaughters, and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hoffman funeral home 
in Greenville.  Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
