Ann L. Lake, 58, of Long Lake, took the hand of Jesus to be with the Lord on
Saturday, July 9, 2005.  She was born April 9, 1947, in Greenville, the daughter
of Matthew Sr. and Rosellen Valenta.  She was a member of the women’s Thursday
afternoon bowling league for more than 20 years with her best friends, Martha
Slack and Elsie Richmond.

She will be greeted in heaven by the Lord, her parents and brother, Matthew
Valenta Sr.

She will be greatly missed by her husband of 40 years, Larry E. Lake Sr.;
children, Larry and Sharon Lake of Fremont, Dawn and Duane Rider of Jenison,
Tracey Valenta of Belding, Ramona and Thomas Corl of Long Lake, Rocky and
Katrina of Mayo, Fla., and LuRae and Rick of Long Lake.  She will be missed more
so by her cherished grandchildren, Brynn and Craig Lake, Elicia and Zack Rider,
Jacob and Anna Corl, Gabe, Ben and Rachel Lake and Jerome and Leona Lake.  She
will be deeply missed by her brother, Jerome Valenta of Greenville; sister,
Darlene and David Darling of Ridge Manor, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.

She will always be loved and remembered by her family and friends who ask that
all who weep for her only to weep tears of joy for she will always be in our
hearts.  Huffman-Brigham Funeral Chapel, Belding, is in charge of arrangements.
