LAKE, GEORGE W.:
   Obituary:  "GEORGE W. LAKE - LANSING - George W. Lake, 5200 Harris Road,
Williamston, 49, died Saturday in Lansing.  He was born Feb. 22, 1930 in Ionia
County.
   He was a member of St. Mary's Church, Williamston.  Survivors include a wife,
Janette E.; two daughters, Mrs. Ben (Kristine) Cadwell, and Kaylene Lake, both
of Grand Ledge; three sons, Kurt, of Lansing, Milton James and Edward Harris,
both of Williamston; four grandchildren; his mother, Sarah Ruth Valentine, of
Ionia; three brothers, Leo, of Kalamazoo, Morrison, of Sunfield, and Hersel, of
Boyne City; two sisters, Ammie Callen, of Ionia, and Celestine Abbott, of Grand
Rapids.
   Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Church in
Williamston.  Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Orleans Cemetery in
Ionia.  Funeral arrangements by Gorsline-Runciman Williamston Chapel."

   "AREA OBITUARIES - GEORGE W. LAKE - LANSING - Due to incomplete information
supplied to the Sentinel, the name of one of Mr. Lake's brothers, L. G. Lake, of
Saranac, was omitted from the obituary printed in Monday's paper.
   Funeral services for Mr. Lake, who died Saturday in Lansing, will be 11 a.m.
Wednesday at St. Mary's Church in Williamston.  Graveside services will be at
the Orleans Cemetery in Ionia at 1:30 p.m."
