Sentinel-Std. - Tuesday, Feb. 25, 1964

Mrs. Jean E. Lake, 33, wife of Foster C. Lake, Jr. of Sheridan, died Tuesday 
morning at Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids, following an illness of two 
weeks.

She was born June 30, 1930 in Detroit, daughter of Frederick Culp, Sr., ad 
Evelyn Cowell Culp, and attended schools in Detroit and Ionia.

In 1947 she was married in Ionia to Foster C. Lake, Jr.

Surviving besides her husband are one son, Stephen of Muir; her father, 
Frederick Culp, Sr., of Venice, Fla.; mother, Evelyn Culp of Ionia; three 
brothers, Frederick H. Culp, Jr., of Saranac, David C. and James R. Culp, 
both of Ionia, and one sister, Mrs. Gary Craft of Lyons.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Myers 
funeral home with interment at Balcom cemetery.
