Lake O. Wave, Thurs., June 2, 1966

Services Held for Mrs. Maude Lake

Mrs. Maude Lake, 67, route 1, Lake Odessa, passed away Friday noon at 
Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids where she was hospitalized for two weeks. 

A native of Hopkins, she had also resided at Battle Creek and Holland before 
moving here nine years ago.

Mrs. Lake was a member of the Central Methodist Church, and the WSCS of the 
church. 

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Joan) Rohrbacher of Lake Odessa; a son, 
Martin VanGieason of Grand Rapids; a step-son Harold Lake of Holland; 12 
grandchildren and two brothers, Robert Martin of Lake Odessa and Russell of 
Coldwater.

Funeral services were held on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Pickens Funeral Chapel 
with Rev. Luther Brokaw officiating. Burial Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. at the 
Oakhill cemetery, Battle Creek.
