                     Austin Richard"Rick"Lake

Austin Richard "Rick" Lake,65, passed away January 15, 2023 after years of 
fighting sicknesses.

He was born May 15, 1957 in Ionia,MI. the son of Lloyd and Beverly (Andrews) 
Lake.

He married Julie Lake June 30, 2003 in Spring City, Tennessee. They had a 
combined 8 children.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents and granddaughter, Shayla Ann 
Graves. He is survived by his wife Julie Lake; parents, Lloyd (Elaine) Lake and 
Beverly Nelson; children, Barbara (Al)Barrett, Owen (Dan Shultz) Lake, Klasiena 
(Tim) Ward, Stacey (Bill) Kanouse, Stefanie (Shawn) Roberson, Amber (Jeremy) 
Stranahan, Chad (Jamie) Graves, Josh (Dez) Guernsey, 23 grandkids, 5 great-
grandkids, brothers, Randy (Sue) Lake, Ray (Rhonda) Lake,many nieces, nephews 
and cousins.

Rick loved his family and enjoyed working on cars, fixing or building about 
anything, yard and garden work.

Memorial service will be held 11 a.m.,Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Outreach 
Christian Church, Lake Odessa, MI, and a celebration of life on Sunday, January 
22, 2023 from Noon-5pm at Lyons VFW Post, Lyons,MI.
