Teresa L. Lake, age 33 of Ionia (Saranac) passed away Sunday, January 17 at 
Spectrum Downtown in Grand Rapids.  She was born in Ionia July 30, 1965 to 
Leeman and Judy (Chorley) White.  She graduated from Saranac High School in 
1983 and then went on to marry Dirk Lake on June 9, 1984 in Saranac.

Besides her husband she is survived by her mother Mr. and Mrs. August Van 
Bennekom of Saranac, her father, Leeman White of Kalkaska; her grandparents, 
Mrs. Ruth Van Bennekom of Belding and Mrs. Gertrud Smalley of Saranac; her 
father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Lake of Saranac; one brother, 
Daniel (Lisa) White of Fenwick; two sisters, Mrs. Sidney (Melissa) Graham of 
Rockford and Mrs. Robert (Judy) Hardy of Saranac, and several nieces and 
nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday,  11 a.m. at the Saranac Community 
church.  Visitation will be held Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and on Tuesday 
from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.  
Anyone wishing may make contributions to the Saranac Elementary School Library.
