Ionia County Shopper's Guide, 25 Sep 2010

Kathleen Raye Lake, age 63, of Saranac passed way September 23, 2010 at her home
with her family.  Kathleen married Robert Lake July 7, 1967 at Park
Congregational Church in Grand Rapids.  She was a member of the Professional
Photography Assoc..  She loved to take pictures and a hobby turned into a
profession.  Kathleen is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Robert B.
Lake of Saranac; sons: Robert B. Lake II and Shannon Lewis of Saranac, Brendon
S. (Becky) Lake of Saranac and Damien J. (Susanne) Lake of Grand Rapids;
daughter, Sara Kathleen Lake of Saranac and her special friend Alfredo J.
Lescano of Chicago; father, Dudley Watkins of Grand Rapids; brothers: James
(Jackie) Watkins of Belding, Thomas (Kate) Watkins of Ludington, Patrick
(Monique) Watkins of Harper Woods and Gregory (Shanna) Watkins of Florida;
sisters: Sharon Watkins of Washington D.C. and Michelle Palmer of Holly;
Grandchildren: Dylan, Robert III, Haley, Morgan, Ryan, Kodie, Michaela, Olivia,
Emmett, Gwenevere, Lorelei, Caleb and Arabella and special aunt, Irene Castle
and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Funeral services will be held Saturday,
September 25 at 1:00 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with Rev. Todd Petty
officiating.  Interment Saranac Cemetery.  Anyone wishing may make memorial
contributions in Kathleen’s name to Local food pantries in Ionia, Park Church,
Saranac Fire Department or Gilda’s Club.  Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home.
