Marian Rose Lally, 93, of Grattan Township, Belding, passed away Wednesday,
April 5, 2006, at Metron of Belding Nursing Home.  Marian was born on July 2,
1912, in Dorr, the daughter of Joseph and Josephine Baranowski Niemczyk.

She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  She was married on May
18, 1941, at St. Alphonsus Church in  Grand Rapids to Raymond George Lally.  He
preceded Marian in death on May 20, 1998.  Also preceding her in death are her
parents; brothers and sisters, Leo, Roman, Edwin, Stanley, Joseph, Henry Lewis,
Leona, Helen and Gertrude. 

Marian is survived by four sisters-in-law, Rita Lally and Marilyn Lally of
Belding, Isabelle Niemczyk of Loveland, Colo., Irene Niemczk of Chicago;
brother- and sister-in-law, John A. “Jack” and Aileen Lally of Belding; and many
nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic
Church, Belding, with Father George Darling as celebrant.  Interment will be in
St. Patrick Cemetery, Parnell.  Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at
Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, with a rosary prayed at 8 p.m. 
Memorials may be given to St. Joseph Church.
