The Ionia County News, Thursday, March 14, 1949

Funeral service for Alvatus LaLonge, who died Tuesday March 22, at his home in 
Berlin township, will be held Thursday, March 24.  Burial in Letts Cemetery.  
Mr. LaLonge was born in Sebewa in December 1873, and followed his trade as 
blacksmith there for many years.  He leaves two sons, Dee and Jay, both of 
whom live in Texas.
