Lake Odessa Wave - December 13, 1979
          LEONA O. LAMBERT

   LAKE ODESSA - Leona O. Lambert of 706 Jordan Lake Ave., died Dec. 6 at her
residence.

   

   She was born May 16, 1906 in Appleton, Ill,. the daughter of Samuel and Margaret
Twaits Leazenby.

   Mrs. Lambert attended Henlighter school.  She married to Ralph Lambert on Feb.
28, 1932 in Saranac.

  

   Mr. and Mrs. Lambert lived on a farm near Lake Odessa for several years before
moving to the village in 
1954.

   Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. George (Nora) Hallenbeck, of Lansing; two
sons, Norman and Thomas, 
both of Lake Odessa; eight grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Mrs.
Geneva Hesson, of Six Lakes.

   Funeral services were held Dec. 8 at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake
Odessa with the Rev. 
George Speas officiating.

   Burial was in the Lakeside Cemetery.
