Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, Jan 2003

Ned D. Lambertson, 97, of rural Belding, passed away Saturday morning, Jan. 4,
2003, at Ionia County Memorial Hospital, Ionia.  He was born March 24, 1905, in
Orleans Township, the son of John and Minnie Gleason Lambertson.

Ned worked at Ford and Chrysler in production control for 35 years.  He married
Thelma Darling on Aug. 20, 1927, in Ionia.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma, on Sept. 5, 1988; his parents;
three brothers, Theodore, Thane and John; and two sisters, Sue Hayworth and Ila
Bozung.

He is survived by niece and nephew, Lee and Randy Sage, and great-niece and
-nephew, Jennifer and Ronald Maxson, all of Belding.

Private family services will be at Orleans Township Cemetery.   In keeping with
his wishes, there will be no visitation.  Memorial contributions may be made to
the Alvah N. Belding Library or the Ionia County Commission on Aging.  The
family is being served by Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
