The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, September 16, 1977

Walter J. LaMeau, 79, of 425 Johnson road, Saranac died Thursday at Ionia 
County Memorial Hospital.  

He was preceded in death by one son, Patrick.  Survivors include his wife, 
Helen; his children Mrs. Nepolian (Barbara) Magniez of Warren, Mrs. Louis 
(Mary) Shedden of Fowlerville, Richard of Mt. Clements, Mrs. Angelo (Eugenie) 
DeSandis of Goodrich, Mrs. Elsie Cronkovich of Lakeland, Florida, Anthony of 
New Port Richie, Florida and Thomas of Warren; one grandson, David Cronkovich 
at home; 29 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services are Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Roth-Gerst funeral chapel in Lowell 
with Rev. Gordon Brower officiating.  Burial is in Easton cemetery.  A 
memorial fund is established for the Michigan Heart Fund.
