Ionia County  News-Thurs. April 1, 1926

Mrs. Elizabeth Lamphere, 71, well known resident of Boston township, died at her
home at Saranac last Saturday, due to an illness of a complication of diseases. The funeral
was held on Tuesday afternoon from the Saranac Methodist church with Rev. C. O. Hayward in
charge. Mrs. Bertha Harwood, Mrs. Robert Barger and Miss Ida Barber furnished the music.

Interment was made in Saranac cemetery. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Effie
Eaton, Grand Rapids; one son, Don Lamphere, of Ionia; one sister, Mrs. Middleton, of
Saranac.
