The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, February 13, 1934

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for Charles Lampkin, prominent 
Keene township resident, whose death occurred Thursday morning at Blodgett 
hospital in Grand Rapids.  Bearers for the service were Bert Lampkin, of 
Ionia, Ed. Lampkin, of Grand Rapids; Frank Evans and Chauncey Ickes, of 
Sandusky, Ohio; Harry Day and F. H. Swarthout, of Lowell.  Rev. S. B. Wenger, 
of the congregational church, of Lowell, conducted the service.  

Those from away who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Lampkin, of 
Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Evans and Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Ickes, of 
Sandusky, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Lampkin, of Lowell.
