Sentinel-Standard - Friday, March 16, 1979

IONIA- A life long resident of Ionia, Rollie R. Lampman, 81, of 120 Lytle St., 
died Thursday at the Ionia Manor.

He was born April 14, 1898 in Bushnell Township, the son of Emmett and Clellie 
Lampman.

He retired from the Michigan Reformatory as an assistant to the warden. He was 
a member of Ionia Hunting and Fishing Lodge and Ionia Moose Lodge.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Cecil Holland of Ionia; two nieces, Mrs. 
James Katherine Emelander of Ionia; Mrs. Roger Cheryle Emelander of Ionia; two 
nephews, Richard Holland of Ionia and Richard Lampman of Louisiana. 

One brother, Dexter Lampman, preceded him in death.

Funeral and committal services will be Saturday at 4 p.m. at Stebbins and 
Simpson Funeral Home in Sheridan. The Rev. Gerald W. Bowen will officiate.

Burial will be in Sheridan Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established for the Moose Lodge of Ionia and 
contributions can be left at the funeral home. 

Visitation will be today from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
