          SERVICES HELD FOR ILO L. LAMPMAN
   Mrs. IIo L. Lampman, 72, passed away unexpectedly Saturday night at the Ludington
Memorial Hospital 
several hours after admittance from a massive cerebral vascular accident.
   She and her sister, Mrs. Cecile Perin, were spending the weekend with her brother
and wife,  Mr. and Mrs. 
Raymond Gilliland, who are vacationing at Ludington.
   Mrs. Lampman was born June 25, 1898, near Lake Odessa, the daughter of Frank and
Alice (Jackson) 
Gilliland.
   She married Lester Lampman July 8, 1918, and they lived at Lansing before moving
to Sheridan in 1936, 
returning to Lake Odessa in April, 1962.  Mr. Lampman passed away in June, 1967.
   A member of the Central United Methodist Church, WSCS and Adult Fellowship of the
church, she was also 
a member of the Lake Odessa Women's Club, Refuge Rebekah Lodge, Lake Odessa Chapter
of Order of 
Eastern Star No. 315, Hospital Guild No. 26, Auxiliary of Lakeside Barracks No.
2161, Senior Citizens, all of 
Lake Odessa; Past Matrons Club of Sheridan, Daughters of the Nile of Grand Rapids
and a past high priestess 
of Hold City Shrine No. 43 of Greenville.
   Surviving are a son, Burdette of Ionia; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild;
a brother, Raymond 
Gilliland, and a sister, Mrs. Cecile Perin, both of Lake Odessa; one niece and two
nephews.
   Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at Pickens Funeral
Chapel. Rev. Marvin 
Zimmerman officiated, with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
