    MARVIN EDWIN LANCASTER

Died April 9, 2025-age 74 of Hastings.
Born May 28, 1950 in Hastings, MI son of Nile and Zana (Douglas) Lancaster.
Graduated from Hasting's High School class of 1968.
Served in  the Army in Vietnam, where he was injured & received a Purple Heart.
Marvin married Diane L.Newton September 23, 1972.
He earned his associate's degree from Davenport Business School.
worked for the United States Postal Service until he retired in 2011.
Marvin was a talented woodcarver and artist.
He enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing and dogs.
Was a member of Michigan Wood Carvers Club in Ionia,MI.
Survived by his wife,Diane L.of Hastings; children Matthew(Ronayne)Lancaster of 
Leesurg, VA, Michelle Hauch of West Olive, MI & Melissa (David) Bradley of Fort 
Worth, TX.
Grandchildren, Corban, Carson Lillian & Oliver Hauch; Jaliana, Michael, Jalia, 
Jay & Lillian Bradley; half-sister,Brenda Ray, several nieces & nephews. 
Preceded in death by his parents, Grandson;, MacKenzie Lancaster, sister; 
Patricia Silva & brothers-in-law Roger Silva & Larry Price.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 11:00am at Lake 
Funeral Home, Ionia, 3521 S.State Rd.,Ionia,MI 48846 with Pastor Randall 
Bertrand officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday, from 9:30 am til time of service at funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to DAV Disabled American Veterans.
