Betty Jean Lance, 87, of Ronald Township, Fenwick, died Tuesday February 18, 
2014 at home.  Betty was born on January 26, 1927 in Pendleton, Indiana, the 
daughter of Harry and Mabel (Hill) Collier.  She had retired from American 
Seating Company after serving many years as a sewer.  She enjoyed being 
outdoors, gardening and animals. 

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Lance, a son Donald 
Lance Jr. and a daughter Jean Lance.  Betty is loved and survived by her 
children; Jim Lance of Belding, Cheryl and Joe Curler of Fenwick, Dennis Lance 
of Seattle, Washington, her grandchildren; David, Hannah, Tabitha, Tyler, 
Trevor, Jessica, Adam, Richard, Nick, Justin, Mike, Donnie, Sally, Clint, 
Amanda, her great grandchildren; Braxton, Jalen, Jada, Julian and one brother; 
Jack Collier of Ionia. 

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and no public services 
will be held. Memorials may be given to the Belding Library.  Cremation 
services have been entrusted to Johnson- Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
