He was born June 20, 1930, in Escanaba, the son of Clarence J. and Blanche Hobbs Lancour. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Marine Corps, and was a former member of the Greenville American Legion. He is survived by his children, Carol and Michael Fagundo of Petersburg, Donald J. Lancour and Kenneth Lancour, both of Texas; his grandchildren, Melissa, Kristy, Amanda and Shaunna; nine brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother. Funeral and committal services for Pete are at noon Friday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral home, 203 Pleasant St., Belding, with Pastor Ken Martin of the Belding Bible Church officiating. Interment will be in River Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.
