Linda and husband Blake have enjoyed nearly 20 years at their home in Canterbury Estates after Blake suffered from a major stroke at the age of 49. Shortly afterward is when they were blessed to find their very first home versus a house that came with a job of which we have been so very proud of both Blake and Linda to make that huge move. Linda and her husband were able to find some of the most wonderful friends, (Lois Walker, Ron Kaminski, Gloria Hozeski, Sharon Ball, Ed and Della, Miss Judy Ross-bottom along with Linda Ellsworth whom she considered a second sister all of which quickly became a second family to them. Throughout the years, both Linda and Blake shared many good times however, they shared many losses of family, personal friends and their correlating spouses of their amazing friends and last but least all of amazing staff at DaVita Dialysis Center in Ionia. All of the losses along the years only brought a few children and her secondary family closer allowing her to remember those that have been waiting for her in Heaven. She was a member of the National Kidney foundation, American lung Association and Home Forever Home. She loved knitting and was able to knit many scarves and arm bands for her fellow DaVita members so they could keep warm during their dialysis treatments by asking their favorite colors she made it special for each individual, gardening and lawn decor, feeding birds and wind chimes.
