Lake O. Wave, Thurs. Feb. 15, 1979

FREEPORT-  Terry Lynn Landon, 19, of 5765 Usborne R., Freeport, died February 
7th at the scene of an accident on M-43.

Funeral service were held Feb. 10 at 3:30 pm at the Leonard Osgood and Wren 
Funeral Home, Hastings, with Pastor Bill Stevens officiating.

Burial was at the Fuller Cemetery, Carlton Township.

Born in Hastings on July 1, 1959, Landon is the son of  Wayne and Ruth (Moe) 
Landon. He attended Woodland Schools and the Lakewood High School and was 
employed at Oldsmobile in Lansing.

He is survived by parents, Wayne and Ruth (Moe) Landon of Freeport, one brother, 
Jerry, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Linda) Higley of Grand Rapids and Miss 
Lorie Landon at home; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Moe of Hastings; his 
fiancée, Sheryl Chapman and her son Jason, 4, of Lake Odessa.

Mr. Landon was preceded in death by a sister, Rita, in 1976.
