Ionia Daily Sentinel, 5 Jan 1955

Archie Lane, 76, died Wednesday morning at the Ionia County Memorial Hospital 
where he had been a patient for three days.

He was born in Matherton in Ionia county, January 6, 1878, the son of George 
and Augusta Lane.  He lived his entire life in Ionia county except for ten 
years spent in the West.

One sister, Mrs. Ina Blucher, of Carson City survives.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at Boynton funeral home 
with the Rev. Heath Goodwin officiating.

Interment will be at the East Plains cemetery north of Pewamo.
