Florence E. Lane, 91, who had lived in Saranac most of his life, died Sunday at 
the home of his son, Forrest, in Hastings.

He was born November 6, 1866 in Berlin, the son of Andrew and Caroline (Moyer) 
Lane.  Mr. Lane was a farmer and stock buyer until his retirement nine years 
ago.  His wife died 10 years ago, and Mr. Lane spent the last nine years at the 
homes of his two sons.

Surviving are two sons, Forrest of Hastings, and Burr of Pontiac, six 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Morris funeral home, 
with interment at Saranac cemetery.
