  Excerpts from Grand Rapids Obituary

     Vivian Carter Lane

Died Monday August 14, 1944-age 33 at Naval Hospital in San Diego,Calif.
Vivian was a Red Cross worker at the Hospital.
Memorial services were held Thursday in San Diego,Calif.
Miss Lane was the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Claude Lane, formerly of Harbor 
Springs & Lowell & the sister of Cietor C.Lane of Grand Rapids.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Lowell,Mich.
