Mrs. Langdon was born May 20, 1893 at Bad Axe, the daughter of Christopher and Clara Sparling. She attended school at Bad Axe and later taught school in Hubbardston. Mrs. Langdon was a lifelong member of the Methodist church and had devoted her life to the welfare of children. She was married to Paul Langdon June 14, 1915 in Ypsilanti. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Keith of Grosse Ile; and Richard at home; one daughter, Mrs. James (Margaret) Wood of Detroit; 10 grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Clara Sparling; a brother, Harold Sparling of Pennsylvania, three sisters, Mrs. Estelle Warren of Rochester, N.Y., Mrs. Jewel Bell and Mrs. Claras Brown of Ann Arbor. One grandson died in infancy. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm Saturday at the First Methodist church in Hubbardston with burial at Westside cemetery.
