Langdon, 49, died suddenly Tuesday at his home in Hubbardston. He was a State Farm Insurance agent and a lifetime Hubbardston resident. September 21, 1946, he was married in Hubbardston to Beverly Skinner and she survives. He was born November 12, 1923 in Hubbardston the son of Paul and Irene Langdon. He was a veteran of World War II, member of Hubbardston American Legion post, Masonic lodge F&AM of Hubbardston and the Order of Eastern Star, and member of Hubbardston United Methodist church. A former Hubbardston school board member he was also at one time the board president. Besides his wife, Beverly, he leaves a daughter, Janet at home; two sons, Sam at home, and Danny of Fenwick; two grandchildren; father, Paul Langdon of Hubbardston; sister, Mrs. Margaret Wood of Western Springs, Ill., stepsister, Mrs. Mary Lou Coutps of Canton, Ohio; brother, Keith of Grosse Ile. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Burns-Schnepp funeral home at Carson City. Rev. Raymond Flessner will officiate and interment will be at West Side cemetery, Hubbardston.
