The Ionia Daily Standard, Tuesday, March 17, 1891

Mrs. James Lantes was found dead, in an out-house at her residence, on Front 
street, soon after noon to-day.  She has been subject to epileptic fits, which 
doubtless caused her death.  She was a most estimable woman, and was a pioneer 
resident of Ionia.  He maiden name was Lyon, and she was married three times.  
Fred C. Vincent and Wm. Moore were her sons, and she also leaves children by 
her last husband.
