The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, December 19, 1987

Michael G. Lapo, 38, of 3172 West Sitts Road, Mason, died December 17, at 
Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.  He was born February 6, 1949 in Ionia, the son 
of George and Thelma Bell Lapo.  He was a systems technician for AT&T and a 
veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Ann, of Mason; his father, George Lapo of Holt; 
his mother Thelma Green of Grand Rapids; one sister, Stephanie Corlew of Grand 
Rapids; two half-brothers, Robert and Kevin, both of Grand Rapids; and four 
half-sisters, Norma Angel, Renee Wiersma, and Rachel and Kelly Green, all of 
Grand Rapids.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, 2 p.m. from the Portland Church of 
the Nazarene, the Rev. James Thompson officiating.  Arrangements were made by 
the Neller Funeral Home of Portland.
