Born in Seneca County OH
Son of Jacob and Sarah Lapo
Came to Sebewa Township (Ionia County) at age 2
Married Nettie Bishop
Moved to lake Odessa in 1901
Was member of Odessa Township Board
Survived by three daughters, Veda (Mrs. John) Blickenstaff of Plymouth, Mrs. 
Hildred (Aubrey) Davis and Mrs. Opal (Dean) Dodge of Lake Odessa; three 
grandchildren and three great grandchildren
