Mr. Lapo came to Sebewa in an early day from Ohio and settled on a farm. He left the farm and resided in Sunfield for ten years after which he came to Lake Odessa where he has resided for the past twenty-two years. He was well known all over the near-by localities, being an auctioneer until he began to age, since which time he has lived a retired, quiet life. He leaves a wife and two sons, George and Charles Lapo, the latter being a business man of Lake Odessa. Mr. Lapo was highly respected by all who knew him being of a quiet unassuming nature but highly regarded for his kindness and good judgement. The funeral will be held at his home at 2:00 p.m. Friday.
