She is the sister of O. B. Sexton of this place and Mrs. Issi Fletcher of Sebewa, the latter has cared for her sister the last few weeks. The funeral will be held at the home Friday at 10 a.m. Obituary next week. The Lake Odessa Wave, Friday, March 20, 2915 Mrs. Alonzo Lapo after many months of illness passed away at her home Wednesday, March 11. Mrs. Lapo was a true friend, a Christian character and loyal Rebekah. She appreciated her friends but was a quiet and retiring nature. She was always ready to do a kind deed of helpfulness. She suffered long and was ready when her Master called. The funeral was held at the home Friday. Rev. J. E. Cook of the Congregational church preached and Mr. and Mrs. Goodemoot sang. Burial at Lake Side cemetery. Sarah E. Seckston was born in Odessa Township July 29, 1858 and with her parents moved to Sebewa Township at the age of six years. She was married to Thomas Fell in 1880. To this union was born one son, William H. In 1884 she was married to Oscar Soule. To them were born four children, Edith F., Frederic R., Leroy L., and Clara M, the latter two dying in infancy. In 1912 she was married to Alonzo L. Lapo of Lake Odessa where she died after a long illness March 11, 1925, aged sixty-six years, seven months and thirteen days. At an early age she united with the Presbyterian church of West Sebewa. Besides her husband she leaves to mourn their loss, two sons, William H. Fell and Frederick R. Soule and one daughter, Mrs. Edith Atwell, one brother, Burton Seckston and one sister, Mrs. Ida Fletcher, besides many relatives and friends.
