She was born in Attica, Ohio, and when she was ten years of age moved with her parents to a farm near Sunfield. She is the widow of Orris Lapo and they lived in Lake Odessa most of their life. She was a member of the First Methodist church. She is survived by a son, Roy Lapo, and a daughter, Mrs. Dale Griffin, both of Indiana; a grandson; two brothers, Nelson Horn of Sunfield and Harian Horn of Lake Odessa; two sisters, Mrs. Guy Lapo of Six Lakes and Mrs. J. B. Myers of Lake Odessa. Funeral services will be at the Pickens funeral chapel at Lake Odessa Friday at 2 o’clock with the Rev. Lawrence Ward officiating. Interment will be at the Lakeside cemetery.
