Ionia Sentinel Standard, 16 Jul 1984

Clair Lapo, 87, formerly of Lake Odessa, died Saturday evening at the Barry
County Medical Facility.  He was born April 3, 1897 the son of Charles and
Nettie Bishop Lapo.  He attended school in Lake Odessa.  He was employed with
his father in an implement and harness shop for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Geanne of Ohio, two sisters, Mrs. Dean (Opal) Dodge
of Lake Odessa, Mrs. Aubrey (Hildred) Davis of Lake Odessa, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Pickens Koops Funeral
Chapel in Lake Odessa.  Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.  The family will be
at the funeral chapel Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
