LaPOINTE, ETHEL (LEE) MARJORY (BARDIN) (MRS. HOWARD): 
   IONIA SENTINEL-STANDARD, MI, 2-27-1993:  "Obituaries - ETHEL (LEE) MARJORY
LaPOINTE, 68, of 241 W. (East!) Washington, Ionia, died Tuesday at her residence.
   She was born November 12, 1924, in Hartford, New York, the daughter of Leon
and Margaret Bardin.
   She was graduated from Granville High School in New York in 1943.  Following
graduation, she enlisted in the Nurse Cadet Training Program at Pittsburg State
Teachers College.
   After the war, she married Howard LaPointe and moved to Michigan, where she
resided until her death.
   She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Church and was active in many church
related causes.
   She is survived by her husband, Howard, of Ionia; nine children, Sharon
LaPointe of Lansing, Bruce of Mt. Pleasant, Cathy Blundy and David LaPointe of
Ionia, Susan Hagel of Lombard, IL, Jean Neuner of Ferndale, Beth Disbrow of
Plainwell, Steven of Oak Park, IL, and Carol Heilman of Lyons; two brothers,
Malcolm Bardin of Fort Edward, NY, and Earnest Bardin of Columbus Georgia; and
therteen grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Clarence Bardin.
   Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 5 at SS. Peter and Paul
Church.
   A memorial has been established for the Educational Trust Fund of the SS.
Peter and Paul Catholic Church, in care of the church."
