Mrs. Ettie LaRocke Succumbs At 73

Mrs. Ettie Horton Olmstead LaRocke was born in Ionia county, November 13, 1864,
and died at Butterworth hospital February 4.  She was a member of the Saranac
Methodist church and Aid society. W.C.T.U. and Rebekah lodge.  She leaves her
husband Louis LaRocke, two daughters, Mrs. Leo Longwell of Lake Odessa, and Mrs.
Hattie Starr of Grand Rapids, one foster daughter, Mrs. Lena Fletcher of
Petoskey, nine grand children, one great grandchild and a brother, Emmett Horton
of Detroit.  The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Saranac
Methodist church.  Rev. Frank Loomis officiating.  Burial was in the Saranac
cemetery.
