She had been in poor health for the past several years. Mrs. Larson was born in Dalarna, Sweden, November 9, 1883, and came to the United States with her parents when she was nine years old. She spent her early childhood and young womanhood in Gardner, Mass. She was married to Henry Larson, January 19, 1904 in Gardner. They came to Ionia to make their home 43 years ago. Mrs. Larson was a charter member of Capt. Frank D. Curtis auxiliary of the United Spanish American War Veterans. Surviving besides her husband, Henry, are one son Fred of Saginaw; three daughters, Mrs. John (Helen) Myszak of Grand Rapids, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Glasson and Mrs. Emory (Evelyn) Freisner, both of Ionia; two sisters, Mrs. Martin Tofeldt of Hartford, Conn., and Mrs. Olga Laydon of Boston, Mass., 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Myers funeral home with the Rev. Floyd Emshwiller officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
