SARAH L. LARSON
IONIA-Sarah L. Larson, 81, W. Peck Lake Road, Saranac, died Dec. 5 in Ionia 
County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 14, 1901 in Berlin Township, the daughter of George and Grace 
Hicking Aldrich.

She attended the Berlin Center School and Ionia High School.

She was a member of the South Boston Bible Church.

She married Elmer Larson Oct. 21, 1921, and they spent their entire married life 
on the Peck Road farm.

He preceded her in death March 9, 1962.

Survivors include three sons, Robert of Grand Rapids, Gerald of Saranac and 
Richard of Charlotte; two daughters, Grace Larson of Saranac and Alice Smith of 
Ionia; two sisters, Clara Redmond of Leslie and Josephine Larson of Ionia; 19 
grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. from the Leddick Funeral Home in Ionia, 
with the Rev. Ron Tuinstra officiating.

Burial was in the Balcom cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established for the South Boston Bible Church, and 
envelopes mey be left at the funeral home.
